Guerrilla Collective 2022 Day 2: Everything announced and shown, including Nivalis and Coral Island

Not content with its weekend showcase, Guerrilla Collective returned today for a second show with even more games from creative and inventive developers and publishers.

Nivalis – First gameplay trailer unveiled

Cloudpunk developer Ion Lands showed off a gameplay trailer for his upcoming game Nivalis, set in the same cyberpunk town as his previous title. This neon-soaked slice-of-life game tasks you with developing and running an empire of restaurants and nightclubs in Nivalis, a city that stretches from the ocean to the clouds.

Coral Island – Launching in early access in October

A new trailer for Coral Island, a Stardew-meets-Animal Crossing community sim, has revealed that players will be able to begin saving the scenic island from the threat of corporate greed when an access version is released. anticipated on October 11.

Biwar Legends of Dragon Slayer – First beta announced

A new trailer for Biwar has opened with the worlds “Early Beta Announce Trailer”, although the video doesn’t indicate when we can expect it, so it’s probably best to keep an eye on its Steam page. The new game showed off something a bit like an independent fusion of God of War and Kena: Bridge of Spirits, with plenty of puzzles, combat, and exploration. The story will see us join Biwar on his journey through a mysterious forest on a quest to avenge his parents and hunt a mysterious dragon.

Lords of Ravage – Coming November

A new gameplay preview trailer for Lords of Ravage has revealed it’s due out in November 2022. The dark pixel art game sees you take on the form of the final boss of a dungeon, and you have to design your own style combat through turn-based combat. to defeat the heroes coming for your throne.

Necrosmith – July Release Date Announced

A detailed trailer for Necrosmith showed off a pixel art necromancer simulator, where you create the dead you plan to raise while defending your tower. Combine body parts from different races to create an army strong enough to repel the enemy. It should arrive in July.

Above Snakes – Open Alpha Week Announced

Above Snakes is a western-inspired base builder set in an isometric tile-based world. Explore different biomes and uncover the mysterious secrets buried within. From June 13 to 20, the alpha version is open to everyone.

The block – Coming this year

A short gameplay trailer for The Block, a “small-scale” city builder where you create cute cityscapes on a small square tile, revealed the game is due out this year.

Hell Pie – July Release Date Announced

Headup and Sluggerfly’s demonic action platformer Hell Pie, akin to Conkers Bad Fur Day, was featured in a “safe for work” trailer that censored roughly a third of everything that was on the screen. But from what we could see, expect the hand of God to flip the bird, as well as a variety of big farting cherubs. Something that went uncensored was the July 21 release date, when Hell Pie will land on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.

Spookulele – Demo Announced

Spookulele, the 3D action game where you have to play notes to fight ghosts, now has a demo you can try. Head over to playspookulele.com where you can test out flashy ghost-busting combos, as well as fly on a ukulele (an activity here known as “Ukeboarding”).

Please Touch Illustration – Coming To Switch and VR

Developer Thomas Waterzooi has announced that his relaxing puzzle game, Please, Touch The Artwork, will be coming to Nintendo Switch in early summer. A VR version is also in the works, although no date or headset platform has been revealed.

Lost in Play – Gameplay Trailer

Rendered in a beautiful cartoon style for kids, Lost in Play casts you as brother and sister who must explore dreamscapes, befriend magical creatures and solve puzzles in order to get home. Designed as an evolution of classic point-and-click games, Lost in Play features 30 different mini-games to keep gameplay varied and fluid.

Glitch Busters: Stuck on You – Gameplay Explained

Toylogic has released a new trailer for Glitch Busters, a four-player co-op game where you and your team work together to defeat a mysterious computer virus in different worlds. The key to all of this are the magnets; you can stick to each other to create towers that lead to high ground, or move allies high to allow them to fall for a ground attack. Levels vary by perspective, with 2D levels requiring you to alter the height of your tower of friends to avoid obstacles. Toylogic has announced plans to release Glitch Busters this year.

Elsie – Gameplay Trailer

Knightshift Games has unveiled a new trailer for Elsie, a “neo-retro roguelike” with “bullet hell ballet” gameplay. Coming to Steam and Switch, you’ll be able to explore a colorful procedurally generated world and use found weapons and precise parries to hunt and defeat your enemies.

Wanderlost – Gameplay Explainer Trailer

Survive a zombie-infested world by gathering materials and crafting weapons and tools to build shelters and other weaponry in this endearing and cheerful post-apocalyptic society.

Falling Out – Gameplay Trailer

Channeling the spirit of Spelunky, a new Falling Out trailer showed off more random dungeon crawler gameplay. A demo is currently available on Steam for the curious.

Endling: Extinction is Forever – Gameplay Trailer

Scheduled for release on July 19, Endling puts you in the footsteps of the last mama fox on Earth. Teach your little ones to survive in this harsh world, otherwise your species will disappear forever.

Eville – Gameplay Explainer Trailer

New gameplay preview for a Among Us-type social deduction multiplayer game. Commit murders or, if you are a villager, find out who kills everyone before becoming the next victim.

Ghostlore – Gameplay Trailer

A Diablo-inspired action RPG set in a Southeast Asian world. Play as a ghost hunter and develop your character in this 2D isometric world.

ORX – Gameplay Overview Trailer

Defend your kingdom against the enemy ORX in this tower defense and hybrid deck building set in a dark fantasy world. You can expand your territory and hire soldiers to defend your newly acquired lands.

Varvarion – Gameplay Trailer

Described as a high-speed blade-fighting stimulator, Varvarion certainly tickles the eyeballs with its vibrant and violent sword-fighting.

Search and Destroy – Gameplay Trailer

In this turn-based action game, you and some online or local friends destroy supernatural hordes with weapons you seek on the ground. It’s available now, and there’s also a free demo on Steam.

Ninja or Die – Gameplay Trailer

Defeat supernatural threats by jumping and punching with perfect timing. This dark pixel-art ninja game is slated for release in 2023.

Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions – Gameplay Trailer

In this tactical adventure game, you play as Damien, an imaginative teenager who becomes Captain Velvet Meteor in order to cope with the stress and anxiety of moving to a new home.
