Reservations are now being taken for the newest adult-only resort outside of Cancun which is slated to open in early 2023.
Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya will be an all-inclusive property offering 355 suites across a wide range of categories.
Operating under the Island Reserve brand, the resort includes both Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels & Resorts. It will include nine food and beverage venues, three swimming pools, a spa and an on-site brasserie among its features.
“As the third property to open under the island reserve brand, we wanted to create a new experience for our guests that is different from others, which is why Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya is our first adult-only destination,” Mario Mathieu, senior vice president of Karisma, said in a statement. . .
The property is located on the beach, giving guests the option of relaxing by the pool or on the sand. When they return to their rooms, they have a choice of 13 different room types, all with king or double-queen configurations with views of the beach, ocean, and Mexican sky.
“Guests will be transported to an upscale coastal retreat where every room offers a view due to its crescent moon shape,” Mathieu said.
There are a variety of choices for guests when selecting a room. Paradise King Suites include outdoor space, while Beachfront Honeymoon Suites offer ocean views, wrap-around terraces, and fully furnished living rooms.
There’s even a beachfront studio that has a king-size bedroom opening onto a terrace and infinity pool.
For those planning to go to the extreme, a special suite will include a fully furnished terrace, oversized infinity pool, custom grill, outdoor pool table, and private butler service.
The complex will feature five restaurants, including JWB Steakhouse; Frank & Lola’s, an Italian trattoria; The Boathouse, an all-day dining option; Far Side of the World, with menu items from the Pacific Rim; and LandShark Brewery & Grill, the on-site brewery.
There are also four bars at the resort, including two swim-up bars.
“With an unparalleled all-inclusive experience filled with gourmet and immersive dining experiences, unique beverage options, exceptional personalized service, and the first LandShark Brewery in Mexico, guests will have ample opportunity to mingle with other guests in the very social atmosphere of the complex. “said Mathieu.
The complex will also have other amenities, including:
- A wedding venue that allows couples to wed with views of the Caribbean for the ceremony and reception.
- Nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space accommodating up to 400 people for social gatherings or business meetings.
